YOGA TAICHI 91
Harmonious alliance of Yoga, Taichichuan, Qigong and Meditation
Benefits of YOGA
The "ordinary" man in his usual waking state is a sleeping being who hardly ever reaches true consciousness.
Most human beings live like machines, reacting mechanically to external and internal stimuli, without being in control of themselves.
All their thoughts and emotions are essentially unconscious mechanical reactions.
Also they have no real "I" (see Gurjieff "life is only real when I am").
This ego is only the sum of contradictory voices that manifest themselves according to circumstances.
Only an elevation of our level of consciousness through the work of Yoga and Meditation and "remembering oneself" can enable us to crystallise our deep "I" and to reach true inner mastery.
The benefits of Yoga
The benefits of YOGA are numerous and on all levels, in fact each posture acts on certain parts of the body and on certain internal organs.
For more details on each posture, I invite you to consult the book of SWAMI SATYANANDA SARASWATI " Asanas, Pranayama, Mudras, Bandha ".
and to read the book "How to maintain, protect your physical heritage" by Dr Dominique MARTIN Osteopath, Sol Air edition.
Many of the preparatory exercises that we practice come from these two books and are completed by the classical asanas of the SIVANANDA school of YOGA.
YOGA is therefore a harmonious complement to TAICHUAN and QIGONG, the three are so closely linked that in "good" Taichuan.... courses the body is prepared by QIGONG and YOGA exercises in order to put the body in optimum condition for the practice.
YOGA among other benefits:
